AS SEEN IN

Trained at Design Academy Eindhoven, Maya and Fabian shape expressive objects where painting, drawing, and hand-building merge. What began during the 2020 lockdown as an exploration of airdry clay and resin evolved into a distinct craft language defined by bold colour, fluid lines, and sculptural presence. Their work balances function and artistic freedom, transforming everyday pieces into vibrant spatial statements.
A COMPACT EXPRESSION OF FORM
Each pendant is carefully hand-built, allowing its proportions to emerge through an intuitive, gesture-led process. The flowing silhouette transforms the lamp into a suspended three-dimensional doodle, rich in movement despite its smaller scale.
Stripes are meticulously hand-painted to follow every curve, intensifying the contrast between orange red and pink while enhancing depth and visual rhythm. The result is a dynamic yet balanced sculptural light.
EXPERIMENTAL CERAMIC LANGUAGE
The structure combines PEX tubing with hand-shaped airdry clay, ensuring stability within its sculpted form. Acrylic paint is layered with precision, achieving crisp lines and saturated colour across the surface.
A clear coat resin seals and protects the pendant, intensifying colour vibrancy while providing a smooth, durable finish. This layered construction reflects an innovative material approach rooted in experimentation and refined craftsmanship.
MADE TO ORDER
Distinct from mass production, each product at MAK MISHO is handmade only after your order is placed. This conscientious approach ensures quality, reduces waste, and underscores our dedication to ethical production. Furthermore, every piece is uniquely crafted just for you, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike, providing you, the customer, with a truly personal touch from the artisan.
