AS SEEN IN

Inspired by the intimacy and versatility of porcelain, Annie Marciniszyn, the artist behind Nodi Studio discovered a passion for this material during her design studies. Porcelain’s unpredictability and tactile nature continue to captivate her, making each creation a true labor of love.
FLUID STRUCTURE
Baloo’s form is guided by Ania’s intuitive sense of balance. Its staggered levels and vertical accents create an internal choreography, moving the eye and grounding the space. Each element serves both structure and story.
Made entirely by hand, the large Baloo is a piece that speaks in subtleties. From initial sketch to final paint, every curve reflects care and spontaneity. It's a tactile object - a design to be felt as much as seen.
HONEST WOOD, MODERN FINISH
Constructed from wood, Baloo’s gentle yet bold architecture stands strong while maintaining its elegant silhouette. The vertical spine supports layered display surfaces that invite personalisation and interaction.
A hand-applied pink lacquer coats the surface in a soft, semi-matte finish. This subtle sheen accentuates form while remaining refined, allowing the shelf’s sculptural quality to shine without overwhelming the room.
MADE TO ORDER
Distinct from mass production, each product at MAK MISHO is handmade only after your order is placed. This conscientious approach ensures quality, reduces waste, and underscores our dedication to ethical production. Furthermore, every piece is uniquely crafted just for you, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike, providing you, the customer, with a truly personal touch from the artisan.
