The Doodle wall lamp sweeps outward in a fluid, hand-shaped curve, turning functional lighting into a sculptural gesture. Olive green and lavender stripes flow along the arched arm and across the flared shade, emphasising its rhythmic movement and graphic clarity. The lamp casts a warm, directional glow, creating a lively accent for reading corners, bedside settings, or atmospheric wall lighting.

Trained at Design Academy Eindhoven, Maya and Fabian shape expressive objects where painting, drawing, and hand-building merge. What began during the 2020 lockdown as an exploration of airdry clay and resin evolved into a distinct craft language defined by bold colour, fluid lines, and sculptural presence. Their work balances function and artistic freedom, transforming everyday pieces into vibrant spatial statements.
A DRAWN LINE IN SPACE
Each wall lamp is carefully hand-built, allowing its sweeping curve to emerge through an intuitive, gesture-led process. The flowing silhouette feels like a drawn line extending from the wall, transforming lighting into a sculptural element.
Stripes are meticulously hand-painted to follow every contour, intensifying the contrast between olive green and lavender while enhancing depth and movement across the surface.
EXPERIMENTAL CERAMIC LANGUAGE
The structure combines flexible PEX tubing with hand-shaped airdry clay, creating stability while maintaining its expressive curvature. Acrylic paint is applied in layered strokes to achieve crisp lines and vibrant colour definition.
A clear coat resin seals the lamp, enhancing colour depth while providing a smooth and durable finish. This layered construction reflects an innovative approach rooted in experimentation and refined craftsmanship.
