Inspired by the intimacy and versatility of porcelain, Annie Marciniszyn, the artist behind Nodi Studio discovered a passion for this material during her design studies. Porcelain’s unpredictability and tactile nature continue to captivate her, making each creation a true labor of love.
HANDCRAFTED
Baloo’s layered form invites interaction, guiding the eye in soft loops across its curved surfaces. Each shelf appears to float, supported by vertical arches that create a rhythm of light and structure, a testament to refined spatial play.
Every angle is refined by hand, shaped with a commitment to precision and expressive movement. This craftsmanship allows Baloo to stand confidently as both a functional object and a bold, architectural statement.
COLORFUL DESIGN
Baloo is made entirely of wood, offering a strong yet warm foundation. The wooden structure supports the fluid design, allowing for stability while accentuating its curvilinear form.
Coated in a semi-matte orange lacquer, the surface maintains a gentle sheen that enhances the vibrancy without overwhelming. The hand-painted finish offers subtle variation, making each piece quietly unique.
