AS SEEN IN

Inspired by the intimacy and versatility of porcelain, Annie Marciniszyn, the artist behind Nodi Studio discovered a passion for this material during her design studies. Porcelain’s unpredictability and tactile nature continue to captivate her, making each creation a true labor of love.
MONUMENTAL FORM, HAND-GUIDED DETAIL
The large Baloo reveals its elegance through asymmetry and depth. Its shelves are carved into rhythm, layered at varying heights to build both movement and order. Ania’s hand is present in every line, shaping the visual harmony that defines the design.
This is not mass-produced geometry, it’s a carefully composed dance of lines and layers. Sculpted, assembled, and painted by hand, Baloo’s construction holds the essence of process, intention, and artistry.
WOOD WITH A SCULPTURAL SOUL
Made from solid wood, the bookcase is robust yet fluid in character. Its verticality commands attention, while the soft edges and interlocking forms maintain a quiet rhythm throughout its structure.
The hand-painted black lacquer finish enhances the piece’s depth and silhouette. Matte with a subtle sheen, it absorbs and reflects light in equal measure, framing your displayed objects with understated drama.
MADE TO ORDER
Distinct from mass production, each product at MAK MISHO is handmade only after your order is placed. This conscientious approach ensures quality, reduces waste, and underscores our dedication to ethical production. Furthermore, every piece is uniquely crafted just for you, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike, providing you, the customer, with a truly personal touch from the artisan.
