AS SEEN IN

Inspired by the intimacy and versatility of porcelain, Annie Marciniszyn, the artist behind Nodi Studio discovered a passion for this material during her design studies. Porcelain’s unpredictability and tactile nature continue to captivate her, making each creation a true labor of love.
COLOR AS ARCHITECTURE
The large Baloo stands as a testament to compositional balance. Ania's handmade approach layers structure and spontaneity, every curve, gap, and crossbeam considered. It’s an object that feels alive, encouraging interaction and reinterpretation.
From brushstroke to build, this bookcase is made entirely by hand. The multi-hued lacquer application is intentional, highlighting the shelf’s geometry while softening its bold lines. A tactile work that invites connection through both use and presence.
WOOD, INFUSED WITH CHARACTER
Constructed from solid wood, Baloo’s expressive form is anchored in strength. Its vertical spine and playful volumes create an ideal platform for curated storytelling - whether filled with books or left artfully sparse.
Each color is individually applied in semi-matte lacquer, adding both protection and vibrancy. The surface catches light gently, allowing the sculptural interplay of shape and shadow to take center stage in any room.
MADE TO ORDER
Distinct from mass production, each product at MAK MISHO is handmade only after your order is placed. This conscientious approach ensures quality, reduces waste, and underscores our dedication to ethical production. Furthermore, every piece is uniquely crafted just for you, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike, providing you, the customer, with a truly personal touch from the artisan.
