Alga is a side table that feels both organic and engineered. Its raw aluminium base unfolds in soft, branching silhouettes, like a metallic sea creature caught mid-motion. The fluid form contrasts with the geometric clarity of its green plexiglass top, casting luminous shadows below. Tactile, unexpected and full of movement, Alga brings sculptural energy to any space. It is a joyful expression of form, made to be looked at, used and lived with.

Trained in architecture, Delulu Studio crafts strange, humorous objects that invite touch and surprise. Drawing from postmodernism, each design is a playful balance of color, form, and intuition.
ROOTED IN FORM
Alga’s design grew from intuitive sketching and sculptural play. Its shape is loose but deliberate, balancing symmetry with softness to suggest a sense of underwater rhythm.
The aluminium base is precision cut and assembled by hand. Each layer interlocks to hold the top in place while letting light filter through the gaps, making the table feel almost weightless.
TANGIBLE CONTRAST
The base is crafted from untreated aluminium with a matte finish. Its surface reflects light softly, highlighting the table’s contours and delicate edges.
The top is made of rich green plexiglass, slightly translucent and highly saturated. It brings a glowing pop of color that changes throughout the day as the light shifts.
