SERVICES

MAK Studio offers architectural and interior concepts for private homes, shops, offices and commercial spaces. Based in Copenhagen, we help clients shape spaces from early ideas to clear visual direction, combining spatial planning, materiality, furniture curation, custom design and FF&E sourcing.

Our work begins with understanding the space, the people who use it and the atmosphere it should create. From layout and flow to furniture, materials, colors and visualisation, we help turn ideas into considered interiors that feel personal, functional and visually coherent.

INTERIOR DESIGN

We create interior concepts for private and commercial spaces, with a focus on atmosphere, function and the way people experience a room. Every project begins with the existing qualities of the space, its light, proportions, materials, movement and purpose.

From there, we develop a clear design direction through spatial planning, moodboards, material palettes, furniture layouts and visual references. When needed, we help visualise the concept through drawings, 3D views or rendered interior scenes, making it easier to understand the final atmosphere before decisions are made.

Our approach is not based on one fixed style. Instead, we create interiors that reflect the client, the space and the way it will be used, whether it is a home, a shop, an office, a showroom or a hospitality environment.

FURNITURE DESIGN

Furniture is often what gives a space its identity. Through MAK Studio, we design and source pieces that support the overall concept, from custom furniture and special finishes to objects that are created for a specific room, function or visual direction.

With experience in furniture design for MAK MISHO and other Danish brands, Alexander Rantzau Hunderup brings a close understanding of proportion, materiality, comfort and craftsmanship into the interior process. This allows us to look at furniture not only as decoration, but as an integrated part of the space.

When the right piece does not already exist, we can explore custom solutions, special dimensions, finishes or made-to-order designs through MAK MISHO’s network of independent designers, makers and artisans.

FF&E & PROCUREMENT

FF&E covers the furniture, fixtures and equipment that complete an interior, from furniture, lighting, rugs and mirrors to objects, textiles, finishes and selected decorative pieces. It is a key part of turning a concept into a real, usable and coherent space.

Through MAK MISHO, MAK Studio brings access to a curated network of independent designers, FF&E suppliers, artisans and makers. This allows us to source handmade furniture, collectible objects, custom pieces and materials that are not always available through traditional interior sourcing.

We help clients with product selection, specification, sourcing and procurement, making sure that each piece supports the overall concept, budget, function and atmosphere of the project. For commercial spaces, this can also include larger furniture packages, supplier coordination and sourcing strategies that support the identity of the brand.

Professional studios often treat FF&E procurement as an end-to-end process covering specification, sourcing, ordering and installation, and some studios also use 3D visualisation, technical drawings and sourcing lists to make projects clearer before execution.
